I reckon there is so much joy in using your hands to eat, as Italians do with bread to soak up sauce, or cultures that push rice into balls with their fingers and use those ballsto soak up sauce. So its been a sppon free house till recently! Most foods given to her hand to be able to be held, even her first foods.
Learning to use a cutelry, no more hands! - 15 months
Mango is perfect! It comes already pureed, all she has to do it suck the pulp - 8 months
This would have been one of the first times she really grabbed something and held onto it.
The pasta was well enjoyed!

Its not ment to be neat or clean! This is why baths often follow meals.
